Overview of North America
North America, the geographic region comprised of Canada, US, and Mexico, does not yet have an associated legal entity with elected officials, administrative staff, etc. to represent the combined interests of the member countries' citizens, as Europe's European Union; at the present, it is united just by trade and other cooperative aggreements.
However, with the release of the Declaration of North America, it's beginning its transformation from a coorperative alliance that resolves inter-country disaggreements to a governance structure analogous to the EU that aligns member states' internal policies with global goals, thereby circumventing the member countries' democratic institutions and processes.
